Everyday Life

A bare naked guy popping his head out of his basement floor apartment window while you're walking in the street on a Sunday late morning and asking you the time, a woman carrying her dog in a baby carriage, the neighborhood's homeless greeting you every single morning on your way to work... these are just a few examples from everyday life in Saint-Gilles.

I wasn't known as a social guy.For all my life, I have tried to be as invisible as possible and tried to avoid contact. Either because I wouldn't see myself as worthy of attention to the people around or them worthy of attention to me.
Now, the gentle, old news agent know me, as the most of the waiters in café Arcadi in gallery St.Hubert. And they all know me as a half of a couple. A beautiful couple I presume, a couple that emit happiness to its surroundings, the kind that makes people happy to see. For the first time in my life, I am visible in such a way. As I have always dreamed of being... Thanks to you love...
